Expectations

At Cirque Dance Studio, Ms. Lisa believes great dancers are built through commitment, consistency, teamwork, and joy. Every class is designed to help dancers grow not only in technique, but also in confidence, discipline, and respect for one another. To create the best possible experience for every dancer, she ask families to honor the following expectations:

Student Code of Conduct

Attendance Matters

Consistent attendance is one of the most important parts of a dancer’s success. Dance classes work as a team, and when dancers are frequently absent, it affects choreography, spacing, formations, timing, and the progress of the entire class. Regular attendance allows dancers to build strong fundamentals, confidence, and trust within their group.

Master the Fundamentals

Strong technique is the foundation of every successful dancer. We encourage dancers to stay disciplined, work hard, and continually improve their flexibility, strength, musicality, and overall performance quality.

Be On Time & Prepared

Arriving on time and ready for class helps dancers start focused and prepared to learn. Proper dancewear (your class color & black bottoms), shoes, and a positive attitude are expected each week so every class can begin smoothly and productively.

Have Fun & Encourage Others

Dance should be a place where students feel inspired, supported, and excited to grow. We value kindness, teamwork, encouragement, and creating a positive environment where every dancer feels confident to shine.

Meet Mrs. Lisa Hunter

ms.lisa

I personally teach every class and love that I get to watch them grow into dancers.

I offer combination classes so that you can participate in dance and still have time for school, sports, church, and family.

We’ll put on a spectacular show every year where they’ll leave the stage feeling confident and proud. No need to worry, I’m very careful that all music, movement, and costumes are appropriate.

The dancers receive a trophy of completion each year and there are many opportunities to receive special awards to recognize hard work, potential, and talent, as well as scholarships!
